The Neglia Family

Cork, Ireland

The Neglia family- Mike, Rachel, Eoin (19), Rosie (10), and Finn (7)—have been serving in Cork, Ireland, since 2003. Originally from Fallbrook, California, Mike and Rachel followed God’s leading to plant a Christ-centred church in the heart of Ireland’s second city. All three of their children were born in Ireland and are being raised to know, love, and follow Jesus in the place their family now calls home.

The church they lead, Calvary Cork, is a welcoming and gospel-focused community committed to discipleship, hospitality, and biblical teaching. Mike serves as the lead pastor and recently completed his Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies (MABL) through Western Seminary. He also serves on the Executive Team of the Calvary Global Network and hosts the Expositors Collective podcast—a ministry focused on training and encouraging Bible teachers. His heart is especially for equipping preachers and teachers across Ireland and around the world.

Rachel leads the women’s ministry at the church and plays a vital role in the spiritual and relational life of the community—especially through hospitality, encouragement, and discipleship.

The Neglias are grateful for the opportunity to live and serve in Cork. They’re joined at home by their beloved cat, Tabitha (not pictured), and are deeply thankful for the prayers and support of friends, family, and ministry partners around the world.

Thank you for partnering with us in what God is doing in Cork!

The Andrews Family

Northern Thailand

We are the Andrews family. We have joined Pioneers missions agency and will be moving our family to Southeast Asia this year. Shortly after we were married, we spent a year in Southeast Asia. We lived among the unreached and it completely changed our lives, our marriage, and the goals we had for our family. We saw first-hand full communities that had never heard of the name of Jesus, let alone had a local church that would introduce them. We came home after that year to grow our family and get some more experience in our jobs as we prayed through what was next. We will be joining an established family on the field with the goal of helping plant a church. If you’d like to hear more details about our ministry, please connect with us!

The Power Family

Tramore, Ireland

Tyrone and Anna Power are an Irish couple church planting in their hometown of Tramore – a surf town of 15,000 on Ireland’s southeast coast. Sent out in September 2022 by Calvary Waterford, where Tyrone served as Lead Pastor for 7 years, with a heart to reach the lost and serve their community, Tyrone and Anna are building relational bridges through everyday life and strategic outreach.

Anna works full-time as a special needs teacher, and both she and Tyrone are actively involved in local outreach efforts including:

  • Christian Surfers Tramore: As newly appointed area leaders, Tyrone and Anna are pioneering this ministry—the only Christian Surfers group in the Republic of Ireland. With a large surf community in Tramore, they engage through beach cleanups, BBQs, community events, and partnership with summer youth and children’s programs.

  • Tramore Market Outreach: Together with their son Asher, the Power family runs a stall at the local market, where Anna creates craft packs for kids. This serves as a natural space to connect with locals and demonstrate Christ’s love through presence and relationship.

Current Ministry:
They are currently leading a home Bible study through the Gospel of Matthew and are praying for God to bring hungry hearts into fellowship.

Prayer Requests:

  1. For God to bring the right people to join their weekly study through Matthew

  2. For ongoing, fruitful relationships with people at the beach, the market, and in everyday life

  3. For doors to open through the Christian Surfers outreach

  4. For health, guidance, and continued provision for the Power family

The Prado Family

Northern Brazil

We (Kelvin and Heloisa) met while serving in missions where we discovered that we shared not only faith, but also the calling to serve God as a family. Today we are 3: Kelvin, Heloísa and Havilah.
After marriage, God directed us to Belém, Pará – (Northern Brazil), where we began serving at Calvary Chapel. Our church is predominantly young and has a burning heart for missions. We took on leadership, pastoring honestly without having much idea of what we were doing, but the Lord has been faithful and has guided us this far and sustained us.
In the church we have some focused ministries:
Chapel in Homes – Home worship services at members’ houses, with worship, the word, and time of fellowship.
Proverbs 24:11 – Through this ministry, we focus on reaching people in vulnerable situations, especially sex workers, offering hope, dignity and a new opportunity for life in Christ. We also develop important prevention and education work against human trafficking in riverside communities, bringing awareness and protection to isolated populations that are frequently targets of this crime.
We also serve a ministry called Pro Life – which focuses on evangelism and discipleship for juvenile offenders.
Gratitude and Prayer Request
We are grateful for every step of this journey. With all the challenges, we are grateful to be part of what God has for Belém.
Continue praying for us, for the church, and for the Lord to raise up new leaders in our community.

The Hoc Family

Brussells, Belgium

We are serving at the US Army base in Brussels Belgium, primarily working alongside Young Life Military. Our main focus is ministering to the youth — both middle school and high school students. Each week, we run four weekly meetings, including two outreach events called Club, where we share about creation and the Gospel. In addition, we lead small groups for students who want to go deeper in studying the Bible and growing in their faith.

When we arrived, we quickly realized there was also a significant need for programs for adults. God opened the door for us to partner with the Religious Support Office (RSO), and now we run all the chapel programs here in Brussels. This includes men’s and women’s Bible studies as well as MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers).

We ask for your prayers for our ministry, as it can be very challenging — spiritually, physically, and emotionally. These military families are on the frontlines, not just for our nation, but often in spiritual battles as well. These are trying times, and these families are in desperate need of God’s light, hope, and encouragement.

Thank you for lifting us up and standing with us in prayer!

The Keating Family

Waterford, Ireland

In June, we celebrated 16 years of Sunday services! This year we’ve seen multiple baptisms—especially among teens who grew up in the church and have been discipled through our children’s and youth ministries. It’s a joy to see young lives following Jesus early. Daniel is equipping older teens to disciple younger ones, and it’s encouraging to watch the next generation step into leadership.

We’ve focused on developing future leaders. Dee has trained two women to lead Bible studies, and a young man recently preached his first sermon—he did great! Our Monday Bible study is now a training ground for three new teachers. We average 90–110 adults and 20–30 children on Sundays. Some weeks we run out of seats! Growth has created a need for more intentional discipleship, so we’re starting a new group in our home this summer. We’re also praying about expanding our deacon team and reassessing our building needs as space gets tight.

Prayer Requests:
– Growth and grace for Calvary Waterford
– Youth ministry and new leaders
– Wisdom in forming a deacon team
– Provision or clarity for building space
– Discernment on full-time ministry support

Thank you for your prayers and faithful support.

With love,
Danny, Dee, Norah, Róisín, James & Samuel

“Brother Sam”

Middle East (Undisclosed)

After an encounter with the Lord that changed my life forever I studied theology and missiology in order to do ministry in oversea missions. During my time in Brazil where I was involved in prison ministry, different programs in poor neighborhoods and lots of evangelistic outreach work, Jesus called me to go where people have never heard about the Gospel: the unreached nations. He led my way and heart towards the millions of Muslim Arabs, where I serve now.

Discipleship & Church Planting in the Middle East

As the harvest is plentiful and many Muslim people get to know the Lord, the need for discipleship and training in the Word is great. Through investing in local leaders of little home fellowships and helping them to grow in spiritual maturity we strive to spread the Gospel among the unreached for the glory of our wonderful God and Savior Jesus Christ.

“Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.” – Luke 24:46–48
