The Men’s Ministry functions as a vehicle to develop men as disciples of Jesus Christ. The core of our ministry is 1 Corinthians 16:13 (NASB), which exhorts, “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”
We are “on the alert” when we recognize we are in a daily spiritual war zone, and thus choose to embrace a proactive, purposeful attitude. We “stand firm in the faith” when we make decisions that catalyze personal growth. We “act like men” when we fulfill our God-given roles as servant leaders like Jesus, avoiding the lures of temptation. We realize the church is only as “strong” as the men who comprise its membership, so we strive to be faithful, trustworthy, and honorable.
Our objective is to produce Godly, holy, Christ-like men who live, love, and serve like Jesus. Toward that end, we offer weekly Bible studies, various events, and discipleship groups, as well as various serving opportunities.

Favorite Quote of all time?
“The Christian life can be explained only in the terms of Jesus, and if your life as a Christian can still be explained in terms of you – your personality, your will power, your gift, your talent, your money, your courage, your scholarship, your dedication, your sacrifice, or anything – then although you may have the Christian life, you are not yet living it!…True godliness leaves the world convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that the only explanation for you, is Jesus.” — Ian Thomas
