The vision of Reliance Junior High is to raise up a godly generation that loves God, loves His Word, loves His church, and loves to serve others. We believe the best way to go about doing that is to lead the lost to Christ, help students grow in their faith, encourage students to build relationships with one another and encourage students to take the next step in their walk with God, whatever that might be. We provide services, small groups, games, conferences and events all geared toward the goal of helping students grow closer to God and build relationships with one another.
Times & Locations
Sundays
Takes place on Sundays at 8:00am, 9:45am & 11:30am in the Chapel.
Our Sunday services are geared toward discipling believers in that it resembles the main church’s morning service, but is also filled with fun and excitement all while having dynamic, Christ-centered, age-appropriated teachings.
Wednesdays
Takes place on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm at the Chapel.
Our Wednesday Services are geared towards having fun and reaching the community as we hangout, play games and worship the Lord through song and God’s Word. We end the night in small groups, which gives students a chance to really “chew on” what they have learned.

Leadership:
Daniel grew up in a Christian family, consistently going to Sunday school and youth services as a kid. But the distractions of this world and family circumstances kept him from grabbing onto the truth and living for it fully, he would say he believed in Christ but his actions wouldn’t show it. Jesus did not become real to him until after graduation high school when he started to attend Reliance. The culture of grace and the faithful preaching of the Gospel started to transform his heart and mind. He realized his need for the Lord and re-dedicated his life to Him, and was baptized on Easter Sunday, in 2024.
Since then he’s been involved in our Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry alongside his fiancée Sarah Binuya. Daniel loves spending time with friends, going to the beach, and growing as a student of God’s word.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a firefighter, a professional gamer, or a professional eater. For some reason eating food extremely fast seemed cool to me.
Coffee, Tea, or Soda?
Coffee for sure!
Go-to worship song?
My all time favorite is “Touch of Heaven” by Bethel. But recently it’s been “He Loved Me” by The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and “High Above it All” by For All Seasons
Who has had the most influence in your spiritual life?
Pastor Darius Mariano. God used him in such a powerful way to reach me in one of the darkest times of my life. He then discipled me, mentored me, and shepherded me into where I am today.
As well as my now fiancée, Sarah Binuya. The Lord knew what He was doing when He placed her in my life, in a time of my life where I was desperate for love and connection, He put her in my life. Not for her to satisfy those needs, but to use her to point me to the only One who can. That is, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Food you can’t live without?
Cheeseburgers, California burritos, and all you can eat sushi…when I can afford it.

What is your hope for Reliance Church?
My hope for Reliance Church is that we would be a people so on fire and in awe of Jesus Christ that it would completely transform every aspect of our lives, and it would cause us to live for Him unapologetically.
