Reliance Church’s Technical Arts department exists to enable the Gospel to be proclaimed as clearly and spread as widely as possible. We use technology to support ministry efforts throughout the church so that God’s people can be transformed by the power of Holy Spirit.
Our aim is to do this in a manner that facilitates worship services and ministry communication in an effective and non-distracting way. “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)
Because God desires that all come to a saving knowledge in Him, we believe that the Church should effectively engage people using the gifts that God has given us and technological advances that are relevant to our society.
Production
Each week, our tech teams are responsible for providing audio, video, lightings, lyrics, and sermon notes to our Sunday services as well as providing support to all of our ministries and events throughout the week. The team is largely made up of volunteers and we love to train people! No matter how much experience you have, we have a place for you to serve and will be happy to help you find it!
Graphic Design
Our graphics team is made up of both employees and volunteers and is responsible for all Reliance Church print and digital graphics.
Web Presence
The Technical Arts department is also responsible for reliancechurch.org, facebook, twitter, vimeo, youtube, our blog, podcasts and more.
Serve
The Tech Arts teams are always in need of more servants to fill the growing need of various ministries here at Reliance, including Sunday mornings at all 3 services. We would love for you to join our team! If you are interested in getting involved in this ministry, please contact one of our Team Leads (listed to the right) or click the ‘serve’ button below and we’ll be more than happy to help get you plugged in to the Technical Arts department!
Ministry Leaders:
Tyler grew up in Oceanside, CA and was raised in the church by parents who loved God and served the church faithfully. Tyler soon recognized the calling to minister and lead young people to be disciples of Jesus and was leading Bible studies at his youth group as a teenager. In 2008, he married Alison who also has a passion for discipleship and leading others to follow after Jesus. They moved to Temecula a few years later and began serving in the high school ministry at Reliance Church in 2013 and joined the staff in 2019 as an Assistant Pastor.
Tyler and Alison have two daughters, Darcy and Delaney, and enjoy hanging with friends, studying and teaching the Bible, playing softball, and rooting for the Padres (well, Tyler does, Alison would rather not be disappointed every season)!

God called him and he immediately stopped what he was doing and left to the Northern Kingdom of Israel. Thus showing that God can use anyone – even me.

Favorite Quote of all time?
“If life is to have meaning, and if God’s will is to be done, all of us have to accept who we are and what we are, give it back to God, and thank Him for the way He made us. What I am is God’s gift to me; what I do with it is my gift to Him.” — Warren Wiersbe
What is your hope for Reliance Church?
My hope for this community is to remember God’s promises in 1 Peter 2:9-10 saying, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.” — You are unique, you are set apart, and you matter in the kingdom of God. He has a greater purpose for your life my friend!
